The federal police besieged the last stronghold of Mosul in three strongholds

The head of the federal police, Lieutenant General Raed Jawdat, on Tuesday, a siege of three axes in old Mosul, indicating the rush of troops towards the last strongholds of the organization.
Jawdat said in a statement, “Al-Ghad Press” a copy of it, that “the pieces of federal police rushed towards the Najafi area, the last areas under the control of the organization in the old city of three axes.”

He added that “the units of the 9th Brigade and the 10th Brigade moved from the west towards the Najafi and Sheikh Abu Al-Ela Mosque, while elite units rushed from the south towards Khaled Bin Al-Walid Street,” adding that “the units of the 19th Brigade supported by the mechanic moved from the river side towards Najafi Street.”
Earlier on Tuesday, the Rapid Reaction Force Command announced the handling of a detachment and the killing of 12 snipers during the battles to liberate Mosul.
