The command of the rapid reaction forces announced on Tuesday the handling of a detachment for Daash and the killing of 12 snipers during the battles to liberate the old Mosul.
“The troops started this morning, advancing south of the old city, to Khalid Bin Al Waleed Street,” the commander of the command media, Lt. Col. Abdel-Amir Al-Mohamadawi, told Al-Ghad Press.
“The forces in the rapid reaction managed to kill 12 Da’asia, in an attack on an enemy sniper detachment,” he said.
“The forces also managed to dismantle the improvised explosive devices in the buildings, in addition to the treatment of the houses there,” he said.
Earlier this day, the anti-terrorist agency called for a crackdown on the terrorist from all sides, stressing that the security forces had begun to move forward to liberate the last neighborhoods of old Mosul.
