  6. CC has lost its’ momentum, Ralph, without you and the other active researchers and posters. How resourceful of you to create this awesome site to see this incredible, historical event to fruition! It is wonderful to see you and other familiar faces here as well. I have said it before… you, Ralph, are a gentleman and a scholar. Lotus

  7. Radronin,
I noticed the “comments” have time stamps but the article only have a date. Is it possible for articles to also have time stamps when they are posted? No biggie, just an idea. Grateful for all you do for us. Looking forward to this week to see if they have the National Reconciliation Conference.
    Thanks so much,
    Mrs. Gorwell

Sadr alliance nominates Sadiq Naim to the post of central bank governor
    Political | 04:47 – 21/04/2019

    Special – Mawazin News
A source in the alliance of the Sadrists led by Moqtada al-Sadr, on Sunday, the nomination of Sadiq Naim to the post of governor of the Central Bank.
“Sadiq Naeem was nominated as governor of the central bank,” the source told Mawazine News.
He added that “Naim’s nomination came because of his qualifications and integrity,” noting that “previously for the pleasures of running a number of positions.”
It is noteworthy that some sources said earlier, that the post of governor of the Central Bank will be a coalition led by Moqtada al-Sadr.

    • Hi Mrs. G.! Thank you for the prayers!! It was a little rough at first, but as of to date, I am fairing a lot better. Still moving a little slow ( funny how heart surgery does that to you!!), so I am recovering at home.. got nothing but time to look at articles….
I didn’t see that one from Sadrs’ group.. Most interesting, however, when I see “a source says, I tend to take it with a grain of salt, but we’ll see. Iraq is always full of surprises!
I hope this note also finds you well, and God Bless!!

  16. Hi Walter,
I pray you are doing well and the ol’ ticker is doing a good job.
I KNOW the RV WILL happen, just the age old question of WHEN?
One day we have 3 of 4 Ministers voted and sworn in. Then we wait and wait for one more Minister! No quorum, 30 day extension and holidays, will they ever get it done? Sure is a huge lesson in patience.
    Take care and God Bless,
    Mrs. G

    • Thanks Mrs. G… So far so good!
Yea, what a lesson in patience! Remember the old Heinz Ketchup commercial? “Anticipation, it’s making me wait!!” LOL!!

  17. Good to hear Walter, stay well.
    I do remember the commercial!
    You made me laugh. 😄
Here’s hoping and praying Iraq makes great progress really soon.
Thanks for bringing us the news!
    Mrs. G
