Shafaq News/ Several sources reported on Friday, that there is no meeting in the coming hours that brings together the leader in the coordination framework Hadi Al-Amiri and the leader of the Sadrist movement Muqtada Al-Sadr.

A leading source in the Sadrist movement told Shafak News Agency; “The head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi al-Amiri, told some figures in the Sadrist movement that he would like to meet the leader of the movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, as soon as possible.”

The source added; “These figures informed Al-Amiri that there is no dialogue that brings Al-Sadr together with the leadership of the framework unless the leadership of the coordination framework relinquishes the nomination of party figures, and actually agrees to hold early elections, as the Iraqi people and the sit-in aspire for it.”

However, a source in the coordination framework told Shafak News Agency; That “Tritha occurred during the visit of Al-Amiri to Al-Hanana until the coordination framework was informed of the details of what Plasschaert discussed with Al-Sadr in today’s meeting.”

An informed political source revealed, earlier on Friday, that the leader of the Al-Fateh Alliance and the leader in the coordination framework, Hadi Al-Amiri, intends to visit the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada Al-Sadr, at the latter’s headquarters in Al-Hanana in the city of Najaf, in the coming hours.

The United Nations envoy to Iraq, Jeanine Plasschaert, confirmed earlier on Friday that her meeting with the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, was positive.

“The meeting that brought her together with Al-Sadr witnessed the importance of finding a solution to the current political crisis,” Plasschaert said, during a press conference, which was followed by Shafak News Agency.

In her response to whether there was an important message from al-Sadr, or signs of a political initiative, Plasschaert emphasized, “Al-Sadr will say what he has later.”

On Friday morning, Plasschaert arrived in Najaf on an “unannounced” visit, during which she met al-Sadr at his residence in Hananah.

An economist explains why the Central Bank of Iraq wanted to buy gold

{Economic: Al Furat News} The economic expert, Duraid Al-Anzi, explained, today, Thursday, the reason for the desire of the Central Bank of Iraq to buy gold.

The useful summary.. In important news, you can find it on Al-Furat News Channel on Telegram.. To subscribe, click here

Al-Enezi said (to Euphrates News) that: “The global economic situation is fluctuating, as dollar prices are falling and reflected in the decline in gold prices, as well as the euro has declined historically, and oil prices today have clearly fallen.”
He added, “Gold is not infallible from the decline in its prices, and it is not excluded from its impact on the global market,” justifying the reason for the Iraqi Central Bank’s purchase of gold quantities “to be the first in the world to buy gold as a result of the economic vacuum in the country.”
Al-Enezi pointed out, “The lack of exchange outlets is caused by the lack of political and economic stability and the lack of administrative authority of the government.”
And the Central Bank of Iraq announced that Iraq advanced ten ranks in the list of countries with the most gold reserves, bringing its total possessions to (130.39) tons, ranking thirty in the world and fourth in the Arab world.
The price of gold globally is affected by the extent of raising and decreasing the value of the dollar, as it is in an inverse relationship between gold and the basket of global currencies such as: the dollar, the euro, the Japanese yen, the British pound, the Chinese yuan, and other currencies. The value of currencies fell, the price of gold rose, while the local market in the Kingdom is directly affected by the global market.

Shafaq News/ An informed political source revealed, on Friday, that the leader of the Al-Fateh Alliance and the leader in the coordinating framework, Hadi Al-Amiri, intends to visit the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada Al-Sadr, at the latter’s headquarters in Al-Hanana in the city of Najaf, in the coming hours.

The coordinating framework had assigned Al-Amiri the task of negotiating with Al-Sadr, as his supporters gathered in the Green Zone and the headquarters of the Iraqi parliament, to pressure towards holding new elections, after his withdrawal from the political process.

The source told Shafaq News Agency, that Al-Amiri intends to visit Al-Hanana, to prepare a national dialogue in harmony with Al-Sadr’s demands, and the position of the coordination framework regarding the dissolution of Parliament and the holding of new elections.

The source indicated that “the framework conceded to the current by accepting al-Sadr’s project to dissolve parliament and hold elections after forming a transitional government headed by the framework’s candidate, Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani, to prepare for early elections and amend the election law, in addition to amending some clauses of the constitution and other matters related to the organization of elections.”

The political scene is living in a crisis situation and a dead end unprecedented in the history of Iraq, as more than 300 days have passed since the early elections without being able to form a new government in the country, and the survival of the caretaker government headed by Mustafa Al-Kazemi.

On the tenth of last October, Iraq held early legislative elections to get out of a political crisis that swept the country after large demonstrations in the central and southern regions in 2019 in protest against the widespread unemployment in society, the spread of financial and administrative corruption in government departments and institutions, and the deteriorating reality The service and the livelihood, which prompted the former prime minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, to resign under popular pressure.

As soon as the preliminary results of the elections were announced, the voices of forces and political actors rose in their rejection of losing many seats, accusing them of major fraud in the ballot, which was denied by the executive and judicial authorities, at a time when the United Nations and international organizations praised the integrity of the electoral process.

Simultaneously, on Friday morning, the representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Iraq, Jeanine Plasschaert, arrived in Najaf to meet with al-Sadr.

The source added to Shafak News Agency, that Blackshart may be the “guarantor” of the dialogue between Al-Sadr and the tire.
