Faily said; For the program “Al-Mastra”, broadcast by Al-Furat satellite channel tonight, that: “The visit of the head of the Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi Al-Amiri to the Kurdistan region is important, and the Democrat and Massoud Barzani support his initiative and will make more efforts to advance it.”
He added, “Al-Amiri’s initiative is based on the return of all parties to the dialogue table. There is no alternative to the solution but dialogue and the street does not solve any problem. The political situation is currently more positive to reduce the ceiling of demands. I believe that Al-Amiri’s efforts will go to solve the problem, as the situation in Iraq can no longer bear many complications.”
Al-Fili added, “What is new in Al-Amiri’s initiative is the meeting of the parties, and it is not limited to the large parties, and it indicates that there is a comprehensive national dialogue and a new political and social contract between all parties.”
He pointed out that “there is an arrangement for a meeting between Al-Amiri and the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada Al-Sadr, in the coming days. If this meeting takes place, things will be completely different and we will go towards a solution. The problem is not in the constitution and the majority, but in the loss of confidence between the two parties to the conflict.”
Al-Faili continued, “All the names that were proposed to the prime minister, including Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, are flawless, provided that the other party is accepted. The problem today is political, and the need confirms the nomination of a person acceptable to both parties, and Al-Amiri’s recent moves are aimed at resolving the crises and containing all parties.”
He stressed, “The return of the parliament’s sessions is a way out of this impasse, and the initiative has succeeded at a very high rate, more than expected, and contacts are continuing to meet Al-Amiri, accompanied by a delegation from the sovereign and the Democrat with Mr. Al-Sadr, and the next few days will show signs of a great breakthrough on the horizon.”
Regarding the resolution of the file of the President of the Republic, Al-Faili concluded, “The issue of the President of the Republic is no longer important in light of these political doctrines, and I imagine that during this week or next week we will witness positive developments to resolve the political crisis.”
