The Council of Ministers on Tuesday postponed the official working hours of next Monday. 
The Cabinet Secretariat said in a statement received by “Mawazine News” that “the Council of Ministers directed to disrupt the official working day on Monday, the tenth of December.” 
“This came on the occasion of the first anniversary of the declaration of victory over the organization of a supporter of the terrorist thanks to the blood of our martyrs and the heroic heroines of all our forces.”

Parliament refuses to reduce the price of a barrel of oil in the budget

Announced the second deputy speaker of the House of Representatives Bashir Haddad, on Tuesday, the lack of intention of the House of Representatives to reduce the price of a barrel of oil in the general budget for 2019, while referring to the formation of a joint committee between the government and parliament to amend the budget.

“The House of Representatives does not intend to approve a proposal to reduce the sale price of oil barrels in the state budget to $ 50 instead of $ 56,” Haddad said in an interview with the official newspaper “Al Sabah”.

Haddad added that “calculating the price of a barrel in the budget of less than $ 56 will put us in a lot of problems.”

And on the share of the Kurdistan region in the budget, Al-Haddad, “the formation of a joint committee between the government and parliament to amend the budget and include the observations of the region in the discussions taking place between them, and the parties, whether the center or the region to abide by what is provided by the Constitution and laws.”

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives to “the continuation of the region to negotiate with the political blocs and the government of the Center in order to reach a share that can satisfy the parties taking into account the political and economic conditions of the country.

Shafaq News / Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, on Tuesday, the reality of what happened in the parliament session today.

Abdul Mahdi said in the weekly conference that “a state of chaos got in the House of Representatives prevented the completion of the ministerial lineup,” adding, “We expect the House of Representatives to set a date for the completion of the ministries after the agreement reached between its members.”

“We will not provide additional lists of ministers, and we look forward to a parliamentary agreement to vote on the list of current names or any other list,” he said. “Acting ministers will not create an administrative vacuum and this is repeated by previous governments.”

“The government is serious about taking measures against corruption and we have 13,000 corruption files open in the Integrity Commission,” he said.
