“A member of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Hiro Ibrahim, on Sunday, support for the initiative of the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Massoud Barzani, which belongs to the presidency of the Republic.
“The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Democratic Party, as the two main powers, have always achieved the gains of the people of Kurdistan in the unity of their position,” he said in a statement.
She pointed out that the large number of candidates will cause the disintegration of the unity of the Kurdish class, it would prefer to have an agreement on the candidate of one Kurd for the post of President of the Republic.
For this purpose, all representatives of all Kurdish political forces in Baghdad should choose that candidate, she said.
She added that no one or party has the right to speak on her behalf, pointing out that her position and view is what she declares today through this statement.
