US Secretary of State: Protecting Kurds and other minorities is a priority of President Trump's administration

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Tuesday that good progress had been made in the fight against a terrorist organization, adding that the protection of Kurds, Yazidis and other minorities was at the heart of the administration of President Donald Trump.

Secretary Tillerson today published the annual report on “Religious Freedom in the World”, in part referring to crimes committed by an organization advocating against Kurds, Yazidis, Shia Muslims and Christians.

Tillerson said it was clear that Jaafar was responsible for the genocide of Yazidis, Christians and Shi’a Muslims in areas he controlled or controlled.

Adding that the organization is also responsible for committing war crimes and seeking to wipe out these human groups, speaking of “crimes against humanity” and “ethnic cleansing” cases that may also have targeted groups of Sunni Muslims and Kurds.

Tillerson stressed that protecting these groups is a top priority for President Trump’s administration.

The US Secretary of State said that he continues to advocate the targeting of members of various religions, ethnic groups and various components in various forms of attacks, kidnapping, enslavement and even murder and liquidation.
