Gen. Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff arrived in Iraq on Saturday in an unannounced visit with American leaders are preparing to expand the “Help” Washington and the Iraqi forces and Kurdish organization that fights “Daash.”
Dempsey told Reuters shortly after his arrival in Baghdad, “I felt that from our side, our contribution to how you are going.”

BAGHDAD – 15-11 (KUNA) – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin Dempsey arrived in Iraq today in an unannounced visit, and the first since the start of military operations against the organization of the Islamic State (Daash).
He said a security source in the Iraqi Ministry of Defense said Dempsey arrived in Iraq already and that he will meet with Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi will also meet with the Ministers of Defense, Interior, and that he will discuss ways to expand help Washington and the Iraqi government forces and the Peshmerga forces in the face of the organization (Daash).
In his first statement shortly after his arrival Dempsey told reporters, “We came to Baghdad to ask how you are going to the mission and where to turn contribute to the coalition in the face of (Daash),
