Baghdad /
Al-Akhbariya : Deputy for the New Generation Movement, Sarkut Shams al-Din, revealed, on Wednesday, the most prominent files that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi will present during his visit to the Kurdistan region.
Shams al-Din said in a televised statement followed by Al-Akhbariya that “Al-Kazemi’s visit to the Kurdistan region will witness discussion of several files, most notably the Turkish violation of Iraq’s sovereignty, as well as oil cooperation, the federal budget of Iraq, the security situation and the handover of border crossings.”
He added that “the disagreement of the center and the region lies about the oil file and the salaries of Kurdistan employees. We rule out reaching an agreement between the center and the region regarding the outstanding issues.”
Shamsuddin said, “The government supported 320 million dollars a month for Kurdistan until a final agreement is reached on oil, ports and airports.”
He pointed out that “without resolving the oil file, no agreement will be reached between the center and the region, and that there is a problem in determining the number of Kurdistan’s employees, and control is absent from their numbers.”
