An informed government source said, in an explanation received by Shafaq News Agency, that “the Central Bank of Iraq confirms its full readiness to receive salary payment notices for retirees and employees for the month of September from the Ministry of Finance’s account in the Central Bank.”

The source also emphasized, “There are no technical or technical problems at the present time that hinder this.”

Earlier today, Saturday, a source in the Iraqi Ministry of Finance revealed that the salaries of the current month of September were fully secured with the ministry, indicating at the same time that “the delay in paying salaries is due to technical problems with the technology of transferring funds from the central bank to the account of ministries, institutions and departments The state is in banks . ”

Shafaq News / The Prime Minister of Kurdistan, Masrour Barzani demanded, on Saturday, to hold a special session for the regional parliament regarding the implementation of the reform project and the path of dialogue with Baghdad.

Barzani’s office said, in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, that “it is decided that the Kurdistan Parliament will hold a special meeting in the coming days at the request of the Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani.”

The statement stated, “Barzani will deliver during the session a speech regarding the implementation of the reform work program for the ninth cabin, the course of dialogues with the federal government, and explaining the financial and health situation in the region and the consequences of the further outbreak of the Corona virus . ”

A statement by Al-Kazemi’s office, a copy of which was received by Al-Akhbariya, stated that “The Ministerial Council for National Security held an extraordinary session chaired by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the Prime Minister, devoted to discussing developments in the security situation in Iraq, with regard to the protection of peaceful demonstrations and the protection of diplomatic missions from repeated attacks. In addition to coordinating work between the security forces. ”

Al-Kazemi stressed that “the opportunity is available more than ever before to build and improve the status and performance of the security forces, stressing not to tolerate mistakes because they are like cancer in the body of the security services,” directing the security services to “observe the principles of human rights in the protection of demonstrations, and to take into account.” What was stipulated in the Iraqi constitution, which guarantees freedom of opinion and expression, provided that this does not affect the conduct of daily life and does not disrupt public and private interests, stressing that every case should be dealt with according to the law.

 

Al-Kazemi also affirmed that the government respects the Iraqi tribes, which have played a major role in protecting the societal fabric and supporting the security forces in their war against terrorism, indicating that “what the security services carry out in terms of security operations comes within their duties in imposing the prestige of the state and applying the law, There is no targeting of our clans. ”

 

The Ministerial Council for National Security discussed the security file of embassies and diplomatic missions in Iraq, and made every effort to protect them, to preserve the country’s reputation in the international community.

The council also discussed a set of topics on the agenda and took appropriate decisions regarding them, including setting up new mechanisms in light of which facilitate the granting of entry visas to future investors.

The source said in an interview with (Baghdad Today), “The Ministry of Finance sent an amount of 320 billion dinars and placed it in the central bank branch in Erbil with the accounts of the Kurdistan Regional Government.”

And, that “Baghdad did not give the regional government a notice of disbursement, so that it can disburse the salaries of employees in the federal government as a first step.”

He added that “after paying the salaries of employees in Baghdad, the notification will be given to disburse the amount of 320 billion dinars allocated for the salaries of employees in Kurdistan, after the entire regional government takes up the sums and revenues it gets from the sale of oil and the proceeds of the outlets and other internal revenues, where the total number of salaries is 895 billion.” JD and distribution will start in the middle of this week. ”

And on the existence of a lack of financial liquidity, he stressed, “There are no problems with financial liquidity and financing, and that the financial loan is sufficient for the ministry to pay the salaries of the current month and perhaps even next month.”

An informed source in the Ministry of Finance stated, on Friday, that the Ministry of Finance is refraining from releasing the salaries of employees of all ministries, while he disclosed that the salaries of employees of the self-financing departments have been stopped.

The source said in an interview with (Baghdad Today), “The Ministry of Finance refrains from releasing the salaries of all ministries’ employees for the month of September, without knowing the reasons behind this.”

Shafaq News / On Saturday, the Iraqi Parliament started its session to resolve disputes over electoral districts in the new election law.

Parliament was delayed for meeting 4 hours due to the lack of a quorum for the number of members present due to the intensification of disputes between the political blocs regarding the electoral districts.

According to the correspondent of Shafaq News Agency, Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi opened the session in the presence of 179 deputies.

Two representative sources had previously informed Shafaq News of the possibility of postponing the session due to differences that still prevail over the topic of the session.

Today’s session is scheduled to settle disputes over electoral constituencies, in preparation for passing the law that is relied upon to hold early parliamentary elections next June.

According to documents obtained by Shafaq News Agency, the legal committee prepared a proposal that includes a compromise solution to settle disputes by allocating one electoral district for every four parliamentary seats.
