The Kurdistan Democratic Party confirmed, on Wednesday, that the region has confirmed its share in the next year’s budget.
The leader of the party, Mahdi al-Faili, said in an interview with Mawazine News, “The region’s delegation, which visited Baghdad, established a number of points, most notably the region’s share in the budget and setting a time period for approving the oil and gas law.”
He added, “It was agreed that the region’s share would be 14% with its commitment to deliver its oil imports to Baghdad,” adding that “it was also agreed to approve the oil and gas law for a period of time not exceeding 3 months only.” Ended 29 / H
