The representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Muhammad Al-Baldawi, confirmed, on Saturday, that the procedures for forming the government are going correctly, indicating that the session for electing the president of the republic and assigning the prime minister will be this week.
Al-Baldawi said in a statement to “The Information”, that “the procedures for forming the government are going correctly and almost settled by the coordination framework,” noting that “were it not for what happened in the Turkish aggression and the preparation for today’s parliament session, the nomination of the prime minister would have been resolved.”
He added that “data and indicators confirm that the Kurdish parties have reached advanced understandings to resolve the crisis of naming the president of the republic,” noting that “the session for electing the president of the republic and assigning the prime minister this week.”
