Earth News / The head of the victory coalition, Haider al-Abadi, discussed today, Wednesday, with the head of the United Nations mission in Iraq, Jenin Plasschaert, the movement to form the next government.
A statement from Al-Abadi’s office, received by Earth News, said, “The latter received Plasschaert in his office today, Wednesday, and during the meeting, the overall political, economic and security situation and the work of the United Nations mission in Iraq were discussed.”He added, “The two sides discussed the political movement to form the next government, the completion of the constitutional dues, and the importance of facing the great challenges in the country and correcting many of the accumulated paths.”The statement added, “Al-Abadi and Plasschaert affirmed their condemnation of the Turkish bombing that targeted citizens in a resort in the Dohuk governorate and taking measures to deter the ongoing Turkish violations.”
