US President Joe Biden confirmed that the United States has concluded an agreement to link the Iraqi electricity grid to the grid of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries through Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

Biden confirmed, from Jeddah, that the US administration discussed the security and military needs of Saudi Arabia to confront the threats.

He added that the Saudi authorities had agreed to extend the armistice in Yemen.

Biden added that the United States expects an increase in oil production in the coming weeks.

Biden said that he had held important talks with leaders in Saudi Arabia, noting that the Saudis had opened the skies to all tankers.
