Muqtada al-Sadr: “Ibn al-Day’i” will not rule over us

Shafaq News/ The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called on Monday to continue with reform, and said that “Ibn al-Da’i” will not judge us, whoever he is.

 And “Ibn Al-Da’i” is a word that Imam Al-Hussein used in the incident of Al-Tuff towards Ubayd Allah Ibn Ziyad, saying, “Except that Al-Dua’i bin Al-Dua’ has focused between two people, between the basket and the humiliation, and there is no humiliation from us.”

Al-Sadr said, “Those people told them that the people had gathered against you, so fear them, so it increased their faith, and they said, God suffices us and He is the best agent.”

He added, “Continue to reform no matter what happens, for I and my companions are neither easterners nor westerners…and no one will rule over us (Ibn al-Dua’i).”

And he continued, “And when you have withdrawn from them and worship none but God, take refuge in the cave: (reform) and (homeland) your Lord will spread for you his mercy and prepare you for your affairs with ease. O my Lord, prepare for us from our commands guidance.. You are my God, my master, and my master. Make clear the word of truth: (reform) and make it supreme, and refute the word of falsehood: (corruption) and make it the most perfect, for you are powerful over all things.
