Iraq and the International Monetary Fund discuss cooperation in stabilizing the Iraqi economy

Prime Minister Mohamed Shiaa Al-Sudani discussed, on Thursday, with the resident representative of the International Monetary Fund Ghazi Shabikat, cooperation in the field of supporting financial policies and plans.

“Al-Sudani met with the Resident Representative of the International Monetary Fund in Iraq, Ghazi Shabekat to discuss Iraq’s relationship with the International Monetary Fund, and cooperation in supporting financial policies and plans, which contributes to achieving the stability of the Iraqi economy,” the Prime Minister’s media office said in a statement, Mawazine News, a copy of which was received.

“The meeting witnessed the discussion of the importance of the financial and administrative reforms adopted by the government, and the support of its efforts to combat corruption,” the statement added. Ended 29/m99
