Parliamentary Finance: Tomorrow The Budget Will Be Voted On

Earth News / The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed, on Wednesday, that the Iraqi Council of Representatives will vote tomorrow, Thursday, on the budget law.

Committee member Moeen Al-Kazimi told Ireth News that “there is a political agreement to pass the budget law during the session of the House of Representatives tomorrow, Thursday, and this agreement includes all political forces, including the Kurdistan Democratic Party.”

Al-Kazimi indicated that “the budget law has not been passed as sent by the Council of Ministers, but will be passed according to the amendments made to it by the Parliamentary Finance Committee, especially since all these amendments enjoy political support and a parliamentary majority.”
