Political analyst: Erdogan’s visit to Iraq is very important and came to achieve the goals of the two countries

{Politics: Al-Furat News} Political analyst, Hazem Al-Shammari, described the Turkish president’s visit to Iraq as “very important.”

Al-Shammari said {to Al-Furat News} that: “Erdogan’s visit to Iraq is very important for achieving the goals of the two countries, the winner, the winner, within the framework of strengthening intra-, international and regional relations.”
He added, “The memorandums of understanding that were signed and the strategic agreement all indicate that Baghdad and Ankara are going to a new relationship on the basis of fruitful joint cooperation for the two countries.”
Al-Shammari continued, “With regard to the water file, the meeting was preceded by a year of dialogues and cooperation between Baghdad and Ankara.” 
He stated, “Baghdad and Ankara have the same approach and their positions are close regarding the Palestinian issue, establishing the State of Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital, and stopping the Zionist aggression against Gaza.”
