His adviser: Sudani's visit to Russia resolved its debts to Iraq. And this is what he will put forward in Washington

{Politics: Euphrates News} The adviser to the Prime Minister, Sabhan Al-Mala Giad, announced that Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani’s visit to Russia has resolved its debts to Iraq, while revealing what the prime minister will put forward in Washington.

“The Sudanese visit to Russia has been resolved by the subject of its debts to Iraq, which seeks to resolve the strategic agreement with America as it does not need combat forces, but to technologies, weapons and equipment,” Giad told the {Free Speech} program broadcast on Monday evening.

He added, “The Sudanese did not address the issue of the Russian armament of Iraq during his visit to Moscow, which provided rapid armament during the period of confronting the terrorist ISIS and he now wants to invest in oil industries and invest in gas.”

Giad continued, “Iraq is eager to see the second face of America, which is the industrial, cultural, cultural and economic, because its military face has become heavy and boring for the Iraqis, and the Sudanese will present this talk during his visit to Washington in accordance with the strategic agreement, in addition to opening the door for investment for American companies in Iraq.”

“US military loans and aid to Iraq are up to two billion dollars, and Iraq has its sovereign decision and will not be with an axis against another axis, and in light of this policy, the Sudanese met the call of the Russian president to meet the interest of the country,” he said.

“From the first moment, the Sudanese government sent optimism to the citizens greatly, and the ministerial platform was optimistic and with the approval of all political forces, through the personality of the president and the ministerial platform and the consensus on it, it sent optimism and is strengthened in the coming days,” Giad added.

He stated, “The government is working on different paths despite the difficulties and the service effort team was established to avoid routine and budget problems, and there is great work that is achieved at the level of services to reach areas that successive governments have not reached, and packages to unblock traffic jams, and at the political level there is a great calm.”

“We reaped the results of the electrical connection with Jordan and with the Gulf, which will be opened very soon and the construction of large electrical stations and there is a large reduction of corruption in institutions and departments, and we have also won excellence in international and regional relations, but the supervisory role will be strengthened further after the provincial council elections and there are legal mechanisms to follow up the work of councils,” Giad added.

With regard to gas investment projects, Giad said, “Gas projects in Iraq will be invested beyond the age of the government and we have the sixth licensing round in the western regions to be announced soon and carry promising numbers in the amount of free gas and its level is expected to be large and high and we have invited companies of all nationalities to invest in gas.”

He pointed out that “the work on the implementation of the development road project is starting in the second year of the government’s life, and all external parties are enthusiastic about the project and the internal challenge remains dependent on political forces.”

In the banking sector, Giad explained, “There is currently something different from previous governments, which is that the current government does not take a step randomly without planning and follow-up, and today Iraq is moving towards localizing industries and to promote industries, the private sector must be revived.
In the budget of 2023, one trillion dinars were allocated to the Development Fund to support the private sector and the projects themselves are the guarantees that are granted against loans and product and consumer protection laws are present and important and may need to be trimming.”

Giad ruled out obstructing government projects, saying, “There is no obstruction of an agreed government project, whether economic, commercial or international relations that serve Iraq’s return to its pivotal role, and this is good, but differences may arise in the last year with the proximity of elections, and the Sudanese far from the interests of distancing itself from the provincial elections.”

He pointed out that “the French company Total experienced and its previous experience in Iraq and presented its offer, and it was the most appropriate in terms of time and cost, and it was quick to meet the invitation and began after signing the contract implementation and France has good political positions towards Iraq.”

With regard to the salaries of employees of the Kurdistan region, Giad said, “The parties of the region are national and close to their audience and salaries have been distributed to their employees and there is a claim to remove salaries from political agreements through their association with the Federal Ministry of Finance.”

“The project funds for the governorates were launched this week and the delay in the release of funds is due to the approval of projects, and the legislation of the oil and gas law is one of the government’s commitments to the political paper and the positive atmosphere is now very suitable to open this file,” Giad concluded.
