Earth News / The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, confirmed today, Saturday, that the Finance Committee has completed the vote on most articles of the budget law and continues with its meetings.
The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives said in a statement, and responded to Earth News, that “Mandalawi met with the Chairman and members of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, to complete discussion of the articles of the draft federal budget law for fiscal years (2023-2024-2025).
Al-Mandalawi said that “the Parliamentary Finance Committee is making exceptional efforts to take out and mature the provisions of the draft budget law in a sober manner as it is for three fiscal years.”
He added that “the members of the committee have completed the vote on most articles of the law, continuing their meetings to resolve the small part of the remaining paragraphs, and submit the final report to the Presidency of the Council to determine the date of the vote on the budget.”
