Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Council of Ministers decided to suspend official working hours for Wednesday and Thursday next week.

The media office of the Prime Minister said, in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, that the council decided to suspend official working hours for Wednesday and Thursday of next week, corresponding to September 6 and 7, on the occasion of the commemoration of the fortieth visitation ceremony.

The council set, according to the statement, next Sunday the date for the regular session of the Council of Ministers.

The head of the parliamentary finance committee, Atwan Al-Atwani, confirmed that the path of the new central bank will maintain cash and exchange rate.

He went on to say: “High-Price investment housing projects must be reviewed,” pointing out that “the Iraq Fund for Development aims to provide an attractive environment for investment.”

Turkish Trade Minister announces the imminent visit of Erdogan's envoy to Iraq

{Political: Al-Furat News} Turkish Foreign Minister Omar Polat, President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, informed during their meeting on Tuesday at Baghdad Palace, that his country’s envoy Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Iraq soon.

A statement by the Presidency of the Republic received {Euphrates News} a copy of it said that “at the beginning of the meeting, the Turkish minister conveyed to President Rashid the greetings of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, while Rashid the minister conveyed his greetings and wishes to President Erdogan.”
President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid stressed the importance of strengthening the relations between the two countries in various fields, especially economic, trade and environmental, and developing them to achieve common interests.
The President of the Republic pointed to the need for continuous cooperation and coordination, especially in the field of the water file, in a way that enhances understanding, pointing to the importance of security and stability for the two countries.
His Excellency also stressed the importance of the work of Turkish companies in many economic sectors and cooperation in industrial fields, especially in qualifying Iraqi factories and factories, strengthening trade between the two countries, and taking advantage of investment opportunities in Iraq, explaining that the government is working to support the private sector, encourage investment, improve infrastructure, start reconstruction projects and provide services related to the requirements of citizens.
For his part, Minister Omar Bollat expressed his happiness to meet with His Excellency the President of the Republic, stressing his country’s keenness to consolidate bilateral relations with Iraq in various fields and work to solve outstanding issues through dialogue.
The Turkish minister affirmed his country’s determination to develop trade and economic cooperation, noting that Iraq is an important center in trade for Turkey.
He added that the recent period witnessed many contacts and visits for a number of officials in both countries, stressing in this regard that the envoy of Turkish President Faisal Oglu is hoped to visit Iraq soon.
