Shafaq News / The Joint Operations Command on Wednesday briefed Shafaq News on the preparations for the fortieth visit, which falls on Wednesday, September 6, expecting 7 million foreigners to participate in the visit.
“The Joint Operations Command held a conference yesterday under the chairmanship of the Deputy Joint Operations Command,” said to Shafaq Al-Khafaji, explaining that “the meeting was very important and was held in a closed-circuit television with all operations leaders and in the presence of the commander of the ground forces, the assistant of the Chief of Staff of the crowd and the commander of the ninth armored.
He explained that “the meeting included discussing the security plan for the visit and that this year is a special year and everyone is keen to make the visit a success.”
“We expect 5 to 7 million foreign visitors,” he continued, adding, “We have a service and operational plan, the last we started with a long time ago, where the Iraqi Air Force targeted the dens of terrorists in Tuz Khurmatu and today important proactive operations have been carried out in several interlocutors.”
Al-Khafaji pointed to “intensify intelligence and security efforts,” stressing “the deployment of 15,000 security elements and the intensification of the preparation of inspectors and inspectors.”
He continued, “We have 3 axes of the security plan, which are the axis of the popular crowd and the axis of the interior and defense, and there are directives issued to the processions to cooperate with the security forces.”
He pointed to “a great security alert in the field of follow-up and providing services to all visitors.”
