The United Nations Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) announced on Thursday that the UN Security Council held a meeting on the situation in Iraq.
“Today, the UN Security Council will hold a meeting on the situation in Iraq,” the mission said in a statement.
She added, “The session will be held at 6 pm Baghdad time.”
“The UN Special Representative for Iraq, Jeanine Plaschaert, is expected to brief developments in Iraq as well as on the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI),” she said. Finished 29/n33
