, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani received, on Saturday, the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Pavel Talabani.
A statement by Al-Sudani’s office, a copy of which Mawazine News received, stated that “during the meeting, they discussed the overall political situation at the national level, and the ongoing government efforts to achieve a level of services in all governorates of Iraq.”
He added, “The meeting witnessed the discussion of the most important files that have priority within the framework of work between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, and the file of security and securing the Iraqi borders in accordance with the decisions of the Ministerial Council for National Security.”
