Member of the Democratic: Barzani's visit to Baghdad to follow up the agreements, including the legislation of the oil and gas law

  {Politics: Al Furat News} A member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party explained the reasons for the visit of the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, to Baghdad.

Ali Al-Faili told Al-Furat News that: “Barzani’s visit to Baghdad comes after the election of the President of the Republic and the formation of the government to follow up on the agreements that took place and led to the formation of the State Administration and Government coalition.” He returned to it, “the first visit of a Kurdish official at this level.”
He added, “There is great optimism, but it is conditional on caution in reaching agreements and a clear and good vision for resolving the files of the dispute between Baghdad and Erbil, and the foundation of the constitution is the ruling between the two parties.”
Al-Faili continued, “Among the agreement that led to the Democratic entry into the state administration coalition are many points, one of which is the region’s share of the federal budget and the return to the 2021 budget, and the participation of a delegation from the region in preparing and drafting the law so that the region’s share is not decided far from the reality, and the number ranges between 12.67 or more.” .
