Shafaq News/ The Prime Minister-designate, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, requested that a session be set for tomorrow, Thursday, as a date for presenting his ministerial formation to the Iraqi parliament.

This comes after a leader in the coordination framework revealed the outcomes of the framework meeting, which was held at the home of the head of the victory coalition, Haider al-Abadi.
The leader told Shafak News Agency, on condition of anonymity, that “the meeting of the leaders of the coordination framework ended with an agreement to invite the House of Representatives to hold a session on Thursday to vote on granting confidence to the government of designate Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani.”
He explained, “Al-Sudani will present the ministerial cabinet to Parliament, which contains 16 candidates for ministerial portfolios out of 22 ministries.”
The leader pointed out that “there is an agreement in principle to exclude members of the current parliament from the lists of candidates for the cabinet.”
He pointed out that “lists of candidates’ names that were published in some media and social networking sites are incorrect, and that the names are known only to the taxpayer and the leaders of the political blocs.”
