The Kurdistan Democratic Party announces the date for the start of the round of negotiations regarding the presidential candidate

The Kurdistan Democratic Party confirmed today, Saturday, that the round of negotiations regarding the presidential candidate will start after Eid al-Adha.
A spokeswoman for the party’s parliamentary bloc, Vian Dakhil, said in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of it, that “party leader Massoud Barzani met with the Kurdistan Democratic bloc in the Iraqi parliament, today, Saturday, and several files were discussed during the meeting, where Barzani talked about the political situation in Iraq.” Iraq in general, and the recent developments, following the resignation of the Sadrist bloc’s deputies, as President Barzani stressed that regardless of who will take the lead in the scene, we are the owners of a legitimate cause, and the constitutional rights of the Iraqi people, the region and the rights of the people of Kurdistan must be defended.
According to the statement, Barzani touched on “the necessity of dealing with the political parties in accordance with the provisions of the Iraqi federal constitution, and that we are also dealt with according to the constitution, stressing the need to take into account three principles, namely partnership, consensus and balance, and that the Democratic Party is not with fabricating conflicts and deepening crises, Because what is important to him is the preservation of constitutional rights and the dignity of citizens.”
He stressed that “the party is committed to its candidate for the presidency of the republic,” noting that “the round of negotiations with the rest of the parties will start after the end of the Eid al-Adha holiday.” Ended 29 / h
