Iraq and Saudi Arabia will sign the electrical interconnection agreement tomorrow

{Economic: Al Furat News} Iraq and Saudi Arabia will sign, tomorrow, Tuesday, the electrical interconnection agreement between the two countries. 

The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Al-Ghazi, said during the Iraqi-Saudi Business Forum held today: “Tomorrow we will sign the electrical connection between the two countries to replace energy.”
And he indicated that “the trade exchange between the two countries has reached 15 percent, and this is a development and progress,” noting that “the problems at the Arar border crossing will be addressed during the next week.”
He added, “The Coordination Council has resulted in some tangible achievements in developing relations, including opening the Arar port, which has been closed for years.”
Al-Ghazi stressed that “the establishment of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council was the beginning of a new page between the two countries’ relations.”
