Riyadh – Mubasher: The Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce will organize, in the capital, Riyadh, next Monday, the Saudi-Iraqi Business Forum; To discuss aspects of joint cooperation in the commercial and investment fields, and mechanisms for their support and development.
The forum will witness the presentation of a number of presentations to introduce the investment opportunities available in the two countries, as well as the signing of a number of agreements between government and private agencies in the investment and commercial sectors, according to the Saudi Press Agency “SPA”.
The head of the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce, Ajlan bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan, said that the Saudi-Iraqi Business Forum will be held in the presence of ministers and economic officials from the Kingdom and Iraq, with the wide participation of Saudi and Iraqi business owners.
Al-Ajlan added that the trade talks between the two sides during the forum will focus on the main economic sectors that constitute a priority in the cooperation agenda between the two countries in light of the Kingdom’s vision 2030, and the directions of the Iraqi economy during the next stage .
Al-Ajlan pointed to the vital role played by the Coordination Council and the Saudi-Iraqi Business Council in introducing investment opportunities and encouraging business partnerships between Saudi and Iraqi business owners .
He noted the steady improvement in economic relations between the two countries, which contributes to an increase in Saudi exports to Iraq, and an increase in the Kingdom’s imports from Iraq because it has good economic potentials in various economic fields, in addition to the flow of investments between the two sides, indicating that there are a number of Saudi companies working on The land of Iraq, and there is a real desire for a number of others to expand their investments there .
