On Thursday, the head of the Sadrist bloc, Hassan al-Adari, announced new details of the meeting of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, with the coordination framework.

Al-Adhari said in a blog post followed by “Nass” (December 2, 2021), that “the most important thing that came in the meeting of Leader Al-Sadr with the forces of the coordination framework, is as follows:”  

1 That there must be a national majority government.  


2 The resistance was, is, and will remain a chest.  


3 It is necessary to refer to the reference in Najaf exclusively as a reference for all.  


4 The government of a national majority does not agree on its quotas at all.  


5 Fighting corruption is one of our priorities and goals that we will not compromise on.  


6 Al-Sadr put all the points on the letter in a frank discussion whose goal is the interest of Iraq and nothing else.  

On Thursday, the coordination framework issued a statement, in which it explained the outcomes of its meeting with the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr.  

The framework said in its statement that “Nass” received a copy of it, (December 2, 2021), that “the leaders of the coordination framework received today, Thursday, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, at Hadi al-Amiri’s house to discuss outstanding issues and the latest developments in the current situation, in order to strengthen the bonds of unity and brotherhood among the sons of One homeland and in the interest of the Iraqi people, which is a priority for all parties.    

He added, “The meeting discussed a number of key issues, including:    

1 Take the necessary practical steps to fight corruption, hold the corrupt accountable, and stop the approved waste of public money.    

2 Emphasis on the exit of foreign forces according to the announced timetable and the development of mechanisms to ensure that weapons are confined to the hands of the state.    

3Protecting, supporting and organizing the Popular Mobilization in a manner that enhances its role in maintaining security in Iraq.    

4 Criminalization of normalization and everything related to it.    

5 Joint work to preserve the constants of the Iraqi people in addressing moral and social deviations in accordance with legal frameworks.    

6 Work to raise the economic level of deprived areas and remove political competition from all service projects and remove disadvantaged areas from these areas.    

He continued, “The two parties agreed to continue dialogues and discussions, leading to the development of realistic solutions to the blockage in the political scene,” noting, “while the framework forces affirm their continuation of their legal and public steps with regard to following up on the issue of the election results.”    

The Wisdom Movement led by Ammar al-Hakim outlined some of the outcomes of the coordination framework meeting, which took place in the presence of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr.  

The leader of the movement, Fadi al-Shammari, said in a clarification that he followed “Nass” (December 2, 2021), that “the meeting of Shiite leaders is a national necessity to save Iraq from sliding into the abyss and internal fighting.”      

He added, “The meeting decided that the next prime minister would be by consensus, and the ministers would be eligible for election.”      

Al-Shammari indicated that “the meeting dealt with talking about coming up with a unified vision to address the political blockage.”      

He explained that “the participants agreed that this meeting would not be the last, but rather it is a key to other meetings in which the points of contention between the Shiite forces are agreed upon. The meeting will pave the way for the formation of coordination committees to discuss the details related to forming the largest bloc.”      

He also pointed out that “the meeting agreed to form a joint committee to prepare a unified paper that will be the basis for a government program to be presented to the political partners and will be binding on the next government.”      

On Thursday, the media office of the head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi al-Amiri, announced the end of the meeting that brought together the leaders of the coordination framework and the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr.  

The office said in a statement, of which “Nass” received a copy, (December 2, 2021), that “the coordination framework meeting that was held in the office of the head of the Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi Al-Amiri has ended.”        

Without revealing more details about the outcome of the meeting.        

The head of the “National Sindh” assembly, Ahmed Al-Asadi, confirmed, on Thursday, that the meeting of the coordination framework forces with the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada Al-Sadr, at the house of the head of the Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi Al-Amiri, was to discuss the developments of the current situation.  

Al-Asadi said in a statement published by his office, that “Nass” received a copy of it, (December 2, 2021), “the leaders of the coordination framework received Muqtada al-Sadr at the home of Hajj Hadi al-Amiri to discuss the outstanding issues and the latest developments in the current situation in all cordial and brotherly manner.”          

He added that “this is to strengthen national cohesion and unity among the people of the same nation and to serve the interests of the Iraqi people, which is a priority for all parties.”          

On Thursday, the head of the Sadrist bloc, Hassan al-Adari, commented on the meeting of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, with the leaders of the coordination framework.  

Al-Adhari said in a brief blog post, which was reviewed by “Nass” (December 2, 2021), that he said: “Al-Sadr and Al-Islah do not separate.”

On Thursday, Hadi al-Amiri, the head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, held a meeting that brought together the forces of the coordination framework with the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr.  

Al-Sadr received a number of officials, before the start of the scheduled meeting, to discuss the results of the electoral process.
