Shafaq News/ The President of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, and the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, stressed on Wednesday the need for joint cooperation and coordination between all Iraqi parties to overcome the current stage that followed the results of the legislative elections in Iraq.

This came during President Barzani’s reception of Iraqi President Barham Salih, according to a statement issued by the Presidency of the Territory today, Wednesday.

The statement stated that during the meeting, views were discussed and exchanged about the situation in Iraq in general, the stage that followed the voting process, the elections for the Iraqi parliament and its results, the relations between Erbil-Baghdad, the efforts made within the framework of forming the next Iraqi government, and facing threats ISIS, and developments in the region in general.

The statement added that the two sides stressed the importance and necessity of cooperation and coordination between the Iraqi forces and parties to overcome the challenges of the current stage.

According to the statement, the two sides agreed that everyone should work to achieve stability, form a government of services to meet the demands and expectations of citizens, and put the political process and the country on the right track.

Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Ministry of Finance announced on Wednesday the launch of funding the salaries of employees for the month of November.

The ministry said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, “The Ministry’s Accounting Department began today, Wednesday, to launch salary financing payments for all ministries for the month of November.”

The department called on all ministries and agencies not associated with a ministry, to “review the department for the purpose of starting salary financing procedures according to the dates set for each ministry.”
