The commission reveals the latest details of the manual counting of the polling stations

Shafaq News/ The Independent Electoral Commission in Iraq revealed today, Sunday, the latest details of the manual counting and sorting of polling stations.

Imad Jamil, a member of the media team of the commission, told Shafaq News Agency, “Today, the electoral stations whose results are contested will be manually counted and sorted in 6 governorates, which are in Karbala with 101 stations, Erbil 29 stations, Kirkuk 67 stations, Muthanna 10 stations, Diwaniyah 4 stations, and Anbar 6 stations.”

Jamil indicated that “tomorrow, Monday, and beyond, will be dedicated to the province of Dhi Qar, as it includes more than 600 stations, Salah al-Din 325 stations, then Basra 162 stations, thus ending the appeals process submitted in this regard.”

Yesterday, Saturday, the Independent High Electoral Commission announced that the results of the contested polling stations on the Karkh side of Baghdad were 100% identical.
