He pointed out that “those who reject the election results and those who doubt the commission’s work are contradicting themselves because they signed the electoral code of conduct, and thus they are bound by it, as it provides for avoiding conflicts, increasing public support for electoral practice, and protecting candidates, but what is happening today is contrary to what they signed,” noting that ” The meeting of the forces of the coordination framework with all the losing forces or those rejecting the results of the elections, if it leads to the support of the Sadrist movement to expedite the formation of the government, it is a welcome matter and welcome to them, dear brothers. In the government, the money will be transferred from the money of the Iraqi people to the money of the components, parties and people.”

And about the Sadrist movement’s next step, Al-Masoudi said; “The understandings are proceeding with a high flow, and the current has achieved high levels in it and is moving towards forming a comfortable and strong parliamentary majority capable of passing bills that are in the interest of the country,” adding that “in addition to our belief in the partnership of the strong, we believe in numerical weights, not qualitative ones.”

In a statement on Sunday, the leader of the “Sadr movement” Muqtada al-Sadr called on neighboring countries not to interfere in the current election crisis, in a clear indication that it is a response to an Iranian movement

In this context, Muhammad al-Sihoud, a member of the State of Law coalition, told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that the “coordinating framework of Shiite forces”, which was founded by al-Maliki and includes the forces allied to Iran, now has more than 90 parliamentary seats.

Chihod added that these seats are “distributed among the members of the “State of Law Coalition” and the “Al-Fateh Alliance” and its blocs, and there is no reservation that the Sadrist bloc joins us for the purpose of forming a government in accordance with the electoral benefits,” noting that “the political entities are determined to move forward. To form the largest bloc, but we are currently waiting for what the Electoral Commission will announce from the results of the appeals submitted to it due to fraud and manipulation that accompanied the electoral process,” as he put it.

The same spokesman stressed that “the major bloc will be announced soon, and it is open to the rest of the political entities, but its original nucleus remains the coordinating framework entities.”
