Jordan grants facilities to Iraqi investors wishing to enter the market

The head of the Iraqi and Arab Contractors Federation, Ali Fakher Al-Sanafi, valued the direction of the Jordanian government, represented by the Ministries of Interior and Foreign Affairs, to set up a new mechanism that includes granting facilities to Iraqi investors and businessmen in order to enhance and increase the volume of trade and investment exchange between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Republic of Iraq.

Al-Sanafi indicated in a statement on Wednesday that the Iraqi Contractors Union received an official letter from the Jordanian ambassador to Baghdad, Muntaser Al-Zoubi, in which he informed them of the intention of the Ministry of Interior to list the names of Iraqi investors and businessmen wishing to visit Jordan in preparation for granting them the necessary entry visas and for several trips, with the aim of improving trade and economic relations between the two countries. And granting facilities to Iraqi businessmen wishing to enter the Jordanian market.

Al-Sanafi expressed his pride in the participatory efforts between the two brotherly countries, which are now reflected in practical steps on the ground as a true translation of the outcomes of the tripartite summit hosted by the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, thanks to the directives of the leadership of the two brotherly countries.

Al-Sanafi thanked all Jordanian and Iraqi officials seeking to solve challenges and confront them in order to strengthen and invest in joint brotherly relations between Iraq and Jordan. To reach this mechanism, which will be the title of a new breakthrough towards a broad space of constructive cooperation and raising the pace of joint coordination and trade exchange between the two countries.

He pointed out that the General Secretariat of the Iraqi Contractors Union has begun preparing a list of union members from representatives of Iraqi companies, contractors and businessmen who wish to obtain entry visas to complete and issue them according to the official channels of the Jordanian Embassy in Baghdad during the next few days.
