Shafaq News/ The Kurdistan Regional Government announced today, Saturday, the issuance of a decision by the federal government to send 200 billion dinars to the Kurdistan Region, within its share under the 2021 budget.
The representative of the Kurdistan government in Baghdad, Faris Issa, said, according to the Iraqi News Agency, that “the federal government decided to send 200 billion dinars to the Kurdistan government this month, as a government letter was issued to the Federal Ministry of Finance for the purpose of disbursing the amount and transferring it to the region.”
He added, “The Kurdistan Representation in Baghdad received the book as well.”
It is noteworthy that a source in the Kurdistan Regional Government, announced last July 11, that the federal government had deposited 200 billion dinars in the account of the Bank of the Regional Government.
At the end of last June, an official source in the Kurdistan Regional Government announced that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi signed an official letter to disburse 200 billion dinars as an advance earmarked to pay the salaries of employees working in the public sector in the region.
