Iraq urges France, Saudi Arabia and the UAE to include Syria in the Neighboring Countries Conference

Baghdad – Mawazine News,
a member of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Iraqi Parliament, Representative Amer Al- Fateez revealed today, Saturday, attempts by the Iraqi government to persuade France, Saudi Arabia and the UAE to invite Syria to participate in the summit of Iraq’s neighbors to be held at the end of this month.
The winner said, “So far, Syria has not been invited, but it seems that Iraq is currently trying to convince some countries such as France, Saudi Arabia and the UAE in order to clear the air and persuade them to participate in Syria, especially if we want to liquidate the atmosphere of the region and make reconciliations.” He stressed that “there are pressures The Iraqi government should not participate in the summit with Syria.”
