Al-Sadr thanks “Brother Al-Kazemi: The resistance operations against the Americans must be stopped.”

Shafaq News/ The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, stressed, on Monday, the necessity of stopping the military action of the “resistance” against the American forces, in conjunction with the White House’s announcement to transform the tasks of the American forces from combative to advisory.

Al-Sadr said in a tweet seen by Shafak News Agency, “Praise be to God, who cherished his soldiers and Nasr Abdo, and thank you to the Iraqi national resistance. Here is the occupation announcing the start of the withdrawal of all its combat forces. Let us wait for you to complete the withdrawal,” adding, “Thank you for the efforts made to crystallize this agreement, especially the brother Al-Kazemi.

He continued, “Knowing that we have set conditions in the past, and with their realization, the military action of the resistance must be stopped absolutely, and the Iraqi security forces, including the army and police, must be supported, to restore security and extend it on Iraqi lands, and to banish the specter of terrorism, violence, intruders and pretenders of resistance.”

Al-Sadr concluded by saying, “Iraq is towards independence, and we are waiting for (sovereignty) and (prestige)”.
