Shafaq News / A deputy revealed, on Friday, that the Presidency of the Iraqi Council of Representatives (Parliament) has set a date for the resumption of its regular sessions next week to discuss and approve a number of important draft laws.

Independent MP, Nada Shaker Jawdat told Shafaq News, “The Presidency of the House of Representatives has informed members of Parliament to resume the regular sessions of the Council next week to discuss a number of important laws and topics in the country.”

She added, “It is possible that the sessions will resume next Sunday,” noting that “the month of Ramadan and the infection of many parliamentarians with the Corona virus have delayed the holding of sessions and the lack of a quorum in the past days.”
