Shafaq News / The President of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani confirmed, on Sunday, that solving the problems between the region and Baghdad will positively affect the stability of Iraq.

Barzani said in an interview with reporters, on the sidelines of his visit to Baghdad, “It is important that we put together solutions to all problems between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government.”

He added, “We believe that solving these problems will lead Iraq towards more political stability as well as more security stability, and that any progress in this direction will be in the full interest of Kurdistan and Iraq.”

The President of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, has been visiting Baghdad two days ago, to increase cooperation between the region and the federal government, and during the visit he met with the three presidencies and a number of leaders of political blocs.
