The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee determined, on Saturday, the number of NATO forces in Iraq.
A member of the committee, Abbas Sarout, said in a statement followed by / Mawazine News, that “the NATO forces present in Iraq are responsible for training and not combat, according to the Iraqi government’s agreement with them.”
He added that “the number of NATO allies in Iraq does not exceed 400 soldiers,” noting that “the training tasks do not need large or additional numbers.” Ended 29 / A 87
