Parliament is moving to exempt its employees from the ban and expectations of a date for the budget approval session

{Baghdad: Al-Furat News} A parliamentary source revealed that the House of Representatives is in the process of addressing the Joint Operations Command to exclude its employees from the health curfew, which will come into effect on Thursday evening.

The source told {Euphrates News} that “it is expected that the voting session on the draft federal budget law for 2021 will be held early next week.”

Referred to, the Supreme Health and Safety Committee decided, last Saturday, a series of decisions to limit the spread of the Corona virus, including the imposition of a comprehensive curfew on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays of every week, starting on February 18th (today), while the partial ban on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday is from eight o’clock In the evening and until five in the morning until March 8, 2021, and it will be reviewed according to the epidemiological situation.

The Parliamentary Finance Committee revealed today a semi-final agreement regarding the Kurdistan region’s share in the budget, which represents the contract and the most prominent obstacle in its approval.

The committee pointed out that the agreement satisfies the federal government and the region “expected” to vote on the budget in the middle of next week.
