{International: Al Furat News} Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmed Al-Nasser said on Monday evening that it was agreed to open the skies and land and sea borders between Saudi Arabia and Qatar, starting this evening.
And Sheikh Ahmed Al-Nasser announced that the Emir had contacted the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad and the Saudi Crown Prince, Prince Muhammad bin Salman, and it was confirmed during the call that the reunion would start with a bright page.
The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister stated that it was agreed to address all relevant issues.
The State of Kuwait also announced the agreement to sign the “Al-Ula Statement,” stressing that it would be a new page in fraternal relations.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the 41st Gulf Summit of leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council states on Tuesday in Al-Ula.
On December 4, Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmed Al-Nasser said that there are fruitful discussions that have taken place recently regarding efforts to achieve Gulf reconciliation, indicating that this comes within the framework of continuing efforts at Gulf reconciliation.
The Gulf crisis occurred in the year 2017, and Kuwaiti efforts have continued since that time to heal the rift and resolve the dispute between brothers.
