Shafaq News / On Sunday, the spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces called on the demonstrators to sort out what he called suspects inside the demonstration squares and hand them over to the security forces.

Yahya Rasul said in a press conference, “In the afternoon there were those who tried to offend the demonstration, by targeting the security forces with a number of homemade hand-made pomegranates and stones, which resulted in injuries among the security forces, some of them with moderate injuries.”

He added, “We call on the demonstrators to cooperate with the security forces to hand over to sort out the suspects and hand them over to the security forces.”

He added, “Until now, things are under control, and all security forces do not carry a firearm in the vicinity of the demonstrations square, based on a directive from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and whoever will try to tamper with the safety of the demonstrators or target the security forces or carry out arson acts or rob government installations or attack buildings The government will receive a firm and strong response, as I call on the demonstrators not to attack the security forces. ”

For his part, Major General Saad Maan, Director of the Relations and Information Department at the Ministry of Interior, confirmed that 43 security forces had been targeted with Molotov cocktails while they were protecting the demonstrators.
