Shafaq News / The Central Bank of Iraq responded, on Saturday, to the Ministry of Finance, expressing its willingness to receive salary payment notices, confirming, according to a responsible source, that there are no “technical or technical” problems .
An informed government source said, in an explanation received by Shafaq News Agency, that “the Central Bank of Iraq confirms its full readiness to receive salary payment notices for retirees and employees for the month of September from the Ministry of Finance’s account in the Central Bank.”
The source also emphasized, “There are no technical or technical problems at the present time that hinder this.”
Earlier today, Saturday, a source in the Iraqi Ministry of Finance revealed that the salaries of the current month of September were fully secured with the ministry, indicating at the same time that “the delay in paying salaries is due to technical problems with the technology of transferring funds from the central bank to the account of ministries, institutions and departments The state is in banks . ”
The source pointed out that “banks will start launching and disbursing the salaries of employees at the end of this week by sending a notice from the finance to the designated banks to release the salaries of employees and retirees .”
Iraq has been struggling to secure the salaries of employees and retirees for months due to the decline in oil prices in global markets due to the Corona pandemic.
