Baghdad / Al-Masalla: The Security Media Cell announced, on Monday, September 7, 2020, that an explosive device had exploded on a convoy of a logistical support company near Camp Taji.
The cell said in a statement, “An explosive device exploded on a convoy carrying” containers “for one of the logistical support companies that had withdrawn from Camp Taji, the beginning of the Shula highway north of Baghdad.
She added, “Which led to damage to the glass of one of the wheels protecting the convoy.”
On Thursday, September 3, 2020, a security source reported that a device had exploded against a truck belonging to a company contracting with the International Coalition in Dhi Qar.
The source said, “An explosive device targeted a large carrying wheel belonging to a company contracting with the coalition forces to transport logistical equipment on the highway in Dhi Qar Governorate.”
The source, who asked not to be named, added that “the losses were not known yet.”
A convoy belonging to one of the transport companies contracted with the International Coalition in Babil Governorate, on Wednesday evening, September 2, 2020, was targeted with an explosive device.
The Security Media Cell stated, in a statement, that an explosive device had exploded in Babylon on the international highway, after a convoy crossed a civilian transport company contracting with the international coalition.
It indicated, “The damage to a civilian Hino wheel that was traveling behind the convoy a great distance, and the injury of a civilian, who happened to be in the explosion.”
