Hassan said in an interview with media followed by Al-Masalla, that Barzani’s discussions with Al-Kazemi and other officials focused on all files related to the situation of the region and Iraq in general, and will pave the way for a close agreement between Baghdad and Erbil regarding financial issues, oil and the management of border crossings.

With regard to the election law, Hassan added, the Kurds’ position is clear, namely, to reject the multi-district law at the present time, because it causes a major crisis, due to the lack of a population census so far, as well as the problems in the disputed areas, so Barzani raised this issue to the officials. .

He pointed out that there is a qualitative improvement in relations between Baghdad and Erbil, and the recent visit of Barzani will speed up the completion of agreements on economic and security issues, and this desire is present among the leaders of political blocs as well, and soon a high-level economic delegation will be in Baghdad to complete these issues.

The statement added that during the meeting attended by the Vice-Presidents of the Kurdistan region, the two sides stressed the importance and need for coexistence between the components and all parties to face challenges and overcome crises.
