Barzani and Saleh stress the need to preserve “a livelihood” in the region and Iraq without discrimination

Shafaq News / Within the series of meetings that the President of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani is conducting in Baghdad, today, Wednesday, he met with the President of the Republic, Barham Salih .

According to a statement by the presidency of the region received by Shafaq News, Barzani and Saleh exchanged views on the political situation in Iraq and the region, pointing out that they touched on the importance of uniting forces and capabilities to overcome crises and overcome differences .

The statement indicated that in part of the meeting, the two sides stressed the need to solve the pending problems between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government on the basis of the constitution and the law, and to preserve the livelihood of citizens and employees in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq without discrimination .

The statement noted that the recent developments in the region and the need to develop relations between Iraq with the countries of the region and the world were another focus of the meeting .
