After returning to the partial ban, will malls open in Baghdad?

The Crisis Cell at the Ministry of Health announced, on Saturday, the working mechanism of malls after the decision to open it, indicating that it will open from tomorrow, Sunday .

A member of the Crisis Cell, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Hazem Al-Jumaili, said, “The decision to open malls will take effect from Sunday until the 15th of this August, and then subsequent decisions will be issued according to the epidemiological development in the country .”

He added that “opening malls will be limited to commercial stores, similar to the rest of the shops outside the malls,” noting that “restaurants inside commercial malls are not covered by the decision to open in order to prevent gatherings and preserve the safety of citizens .”

Al-Jumaili explained that “other restaurants outside the malls will be opened only to delivery and direct sales, and it is not allowed to open restaurant halls and receive customers.”
