Al-Kazemi orders the appointment of 500 protesters from the defense

A member of the Human Rights Commission, Faten Al-Halfi, announced, on Wednesday, the approval of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to issue orders to appoint 500 protesters in front of the Ministry of Defense gate.

In a post on her Facebook platform, Al-Halfi said, “Another step counted for the prime minister, as appointments orders were issued for 500 protesters appointed to the Ministry of Defense.”

Al-Halfi thanked the prime minister for this step because it is the correct path to restore rights, as she put it.

Oil Minister: Aid to Lebanon amounted to 20 tons of medical supplies

Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar confirmed, on Wednesday, that the Iraqi aid that arrived in Lebanon amounted to 20 tons of medical supplies.

The official agency “Wa’a” and its subsidiary “Al-Maalouma” stated that Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diab received at the Governmental Serail this evening an Iraqi delegation headed by the Minister of Oil Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar, the representative of the Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, the Deputy Minister of Health Hani Al-Oqabi, and the Chargé d’Affairs Amin Al-Nasrawi. Political advisor Ahmed Jamal and Director of the Office of the Minister of Oil, Haider Obaid, in the presence of Minister of Energy and Water Raymond Ghajar and advisor to the Prime Minister Khader Talib, pointing out that the delegation briefed the Lebanese Prime Minister on the Iraqi medical services that arrived in Beirut and the oil submissions that started from Baghdad.

She added that after the meeting, Minister Abdul-Jabbar said, “We came from the Ministry of Oil, the Undersecretary of the Minister of Health, and a number of doctors in general and specialized surgery, with assistance amounting to 20 tons of medical and health materials, as an expression of Iraq’s participation in the pain afflicting brotherly Lebanon in this recent incident. Stressing that “an atmosphere of misery and anticipation prevailed in Iraq , the people and the leadership, in front of the great event that befell Beirut. We ask God to return Lebanon to its previous era of safe living, and the Iraqi government is committed to be a partner to Lebanon in this ordeal. Therefore, fuel convoys began From Baghdad to Beirut via the Syrian border. ”

The minister added that “Al-Kazemi promised the Lebanese government to provide fuel, and Iraq will be a good aid and support for the Lebanese government, and the medical staff will remain in Beirut until the Lebanese side authorizes him to return, and medical assistance will remain available.” 25 n ended

Shafaq News / Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, on Wednesday, conducted the first inspection visit of its kind to roam among demonstrators in the center of the capital, Baghdad, pledging to fulfill their demands.

A statement issued by Al-Kazemi’s office, reported to Shafaq News, stated that he visited a group of demonstrators, graduates of colleges and institutes, in places of their demonstration and sit-in, and listened to their demands and proposals.

Al-Kazimi promised to “meet all their rightful demands,” and showed them that “the government faces cumulative problems, caused by years of mismanagement and misbehavior in the decision, and the missed development opportunities, as well as the absence of long-term plans.”

He added that “the challenges facing us as a government are great challenges, and all the demands that you put forward are a legitimate and constitutional right, except that the required work size and effort required is a great effort, but it will not fail us.”

Al-Kazimi pointed out that “the steps that the government has begun to surround corruption outlets, hold abusers accountable, and correct the course of administration, which will have a positive impact on the overall performance of the state and the government apparatus.”

And he added, “The demands of the demonstrators all over Iraq completely meet the reform program adopted by the government.”

This is the first inspection tour of its kind since Al-Kazemi took office in May, succeeding the government of Adel Abdel-Mahdi, who resigned under the pressure of unprecedented popular protests.

Baghdad / Obelisk: Iraq ranked fifth in the world and second in the Arab world in terms of most of the countries that have oil reserves, according to the Global GFP Classification Corporation.

The Foundation stated in its report for the year 2020, that Iraq’s reserves of crude oil amounted to 142 billion and 500 thousand barrels, which is thus ranked fifth in the world after each of Venezuela, which ranked first with a value of 300 billion and 700 million barrels, followed by Saudi Arabia secondly with an amount of 266 billion and 500 million Barrel, and then Canada comes third, with 169 billion and 700 million barrels, followed by Iran at fourth place, with 158 billion and 400 million barrels.

The organization added that Iraq ranked second in the Arab world after Saudi Arabia as the largest oil reserve, so Kuwait came third in the Arab world with an amount of 101 billion and 500 million barrels, and then the United Arab Emirates comes fourth with 97 billion and 800 million barrels.

And the Ministry of Oil announced in 2017 that the size of the Iraqi reserve increased to 153 billion barrels, while it indicated that it would ask OPEC to adopt this.
